Job summary

ABB's Pinetops, NC facility is seeking a hands-on assembler to support production targets on the shop floor. You will read and interpret technical diagrams, assemble products, and perform quality checks as part of a defined production process.

This onsite role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, using hand tools, and strict adherence to safety procedures in a manufacturing environment. You will join a team focused on reliable, high-quality output.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
