Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Process Engineer – Urea SME for a part-time assignment with a major EPC multinational in Houston, TX. You will provide specialized technical leadership in the Urea process within Process Engineering and guide FEED deliverables.

Responsibilities include interpreting PDP, supporting FEED, liaising with licensor, ensuring PDP integrity across P&IDs and control philosophy, and participating in FEED reviews. Requires 12+ years of experience and Urea expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited four-year program.
Minimum of 12 years of engineering experience, including substantial Urea process technology and licensor-based deliverables.
Experience with Urea is a must; candidates without Urea experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

Provide Urea process SME support for FEED using PDP as the technical basis.
Guide the FEED execution team in interpreting and applying PDP.
Serve as technical liaison with the Urea licensor to resolve PDP questions for FEED development.
Verify PDP integrity and consistent application across FEED deliverables (equipment specs, P&IDs, control philosophy).
Participate in FEED milestone reviews, including P&ID reviews, HAZOP studies, and model reviews.
Support technical checks, peer reviews, and timely incorporation of review comments.
