Job summary

Genesis Staffing in Houston, TX seeks a Specialist Engineer – Urea Subject Matter Expert to provide specialized technical leadership for challenging Urea process engineering projects. You will guide FEED activities, coordinate with the licensor, and ensure PDP-based deliverables meet project objectives and standards.

The role requires a strong background in Urea technology, reporting to senior stakeholders, and a track record of cross-disciplinary collaboration in engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year program.
• Minimum of 12 years of engineering experience, including substantial experience with Urea process technology.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate across a small, high-caliber team and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead FEED support as Urea SME for revamp projects using the licensor’s PDP.
• Serve as technical liaison with the licensor to resolve PDP interpretation questions and support FEED development.
• Verify technical integrity and PDP consistency across FEED deliverables (equipment specs, P&IDs, control philosophy).
• Participate in FEED milestone reviews and support reviews and comment incorporation.
