Flexicrew Technical Services in Houston, TX seeks a Specialist Engineer – Urea Subject Matter Expert to provide leadership and process engineering for a urea revamp during FEED. You will leverage extensive urea process knowledge and the licensor’s PDP to develop practical, cost‑effective solutions that support project objectives and high quality execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related technical discipline.
Minimum of 12 years engineering experience in urea process technology.
Experience developing or reviewing licensor-based engineering deliverables.
Ability to interpret and apply a licensor’s Process Design Package across FEED deliverables.
Experience in engineering reviews including P&ID, HAZOP, and model reviews.
Strong problem solving and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

Provide urea process subject matter expertise and technical support throughout FEED using PDP.
Guide FEED execution team in interpreting and applying PDP across deliverables.
Serve as technical liaison with the urea licensor to resolve PDP questions.
Verify technical integrity and PDP application across equipment specs, P&IDs and control philosophy.
Participate in FEED milestone reviews including P&ID reviews and HAZOP studies.
Collaborate across disciplines to resolve technical, vendor, and customer issues.
Ensure engineering work complies with health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
Promote adherence to engineering practices, regulatory requirements and customer specs.
