Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Operator to fulfill warehouse orders using PITs like forklifts and order pickers at our Gap, PA facility. You will support the team on the warehouse floor and ensure orders are processed efficiently.

The role requires safety focus, ability to follow instructions, familiarity with RF scanners and touchscreen systems, and be able to work overtime as needed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school degree or GED a plus.
• Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
• Warehousing or manufacturing experience a plus.
• Forklift or heavy machinery experience a plus.
• Able to operate department-specific technology to execute job tasks i.e. RF scanners or desktop computers and touchscreens.
• Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required.

Role Summary

An Equipment Operator is responsible for fulfilling warehouse orders using warehousing equipment such as powered industrial trucks (PIT) like forklifts, order pickers, or pallet drivers. They may also need to support their team on the warehouse floor, working together to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently. Equipment Operators are enthusiastic team players who possess excellent organizational and communication skills, always maintaining a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand and walk for considerable distance throughout a shift
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
• Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights to 50 pounds
• Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e., forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements
