Job summary

RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture seeks a Planning Associate to support coordination of public-sector consulting and development applications across jurisdictions. You will assist Project Manager/Director, gather data from zoning ordinances and master plans, and help manage schedules and deadlines while collaborating across teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in urban planning or related field and 0–3 years’ planning experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning, Public Administration, Geography, Landscape Architecture or related field is required.
• 0-3 years of practical experience as a planner or in related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in a fast-paced team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Project; GIS, Photoshop, and InDesign preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project team members and provide regular updates.
• Gather current and historical data from zoning ordinances, master plans, and drawings.
• Review with Project Manager/Director and project team members.
• Apply land and site planning procedures and regulations per standards and guidelines.
• Follow QA/QC protocols to maintain product quality and reputation.
• Meet or exceed designated chargeability and hours.
