Job summary

RVi Planning seeks a Design Associate to support project teams by designing portions of landscapes and addressing landscape architectural issues. The role develops proficiency in essential functions while working under supervision.

The candidate should bring a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or related field and at least 2 years of related experience, with strong AutoCAD, Revit, and design communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• 2+ years of practical experience in related field.
• Ability to apply fundamental design concepts to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD and related software to complete assignments on time and within prescribed standards.
• Provide drafting documents and computations; participate in the design process from conceptual to Construction Administration.
• Translate abstract design sketches into functioning digital design documents.
• Consider opinions of probable costs and project schedules.
• Complete edits and modify plans as reviewed by agencies, municipalities, and clients.
• Perform site visits and site walks; communicate workload/status to Project Manager.
• Demonstrate advanced skills: AutoCAD, AdobeCS, Technical Writing, Revit, Lumion, MS Office.
