Stantec is seeking a Transportation Designer to join our Urban Mobility team in the North Central region. You will collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects delivering urban corridors, roundabouts, bikeways, and related design opportunities across North America.

The role emphasizes compliant, technically sound designs and strong stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate has a passion for urban transportation, traffic calming concepts, and safety for all road users, bringing visions to life

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in roadway design.

Responsabilités

Lead roadway design projects for cities, counties, and state DOTs.
Collaborate with staff from local offices and greater Stantec to provide support, access expertise, and secure assistance on projects as needed.
Support an energetic and collaborative team culture that drives great results.
Prepare design concepts, Preliminary Geometric Layouts and Final Design construction plan sets.
Perform CAD design of roadways incorporating State DOT, County, and local practices and procedures.
Perform CAD design in MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D as it relates to roadway design, including 3D corridor models.
Review work for accuracy and coordinates with others to ensure quality assurance and quality control for all final products
