Eagle College Preparatory Schools is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide scholars toward academic excellence and strong character. Under the Principal, you will lead instruction, plan daily lessons, and collaborate with families and staff to ensure student success.

You will track progress with assessments, maintain records, and support scholar growth through engaging, differentiated lessons and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent required.
• State Teacher Certification required.
• Specialty or highly qualified credential preferred.
• At least 1–3 years of teaching experience, urban experience a plus.
• Experience with school teaching platforms and technology for virtual learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead instruction and training of scholars in classroom and assigned grade levels.
• Develop and implement daily instruction plans aligned with goals.
• Use differentiated, research-based instructional strategies.
• Conduct interim assessments and analyze data to measure progress.
• Maintain accurate records including attendance and grades.
• Set goals for the year and interim assessment cycles.
• Ensure safety and well-being of scholars on and off campus.
• Collaborate with parents, scholars, and administration.
