Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate with Math endorsements.
• Experience teaching low-income students in urban settings preferred.
• Valid driver's license with current insurance and vehicle registration.
• Criminal background check, physical and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal status.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, differentiated instruction aligned to standards.
• Set rigorous academic and behavioral goals and monitor progress with data.
• Plan and deliver lessons and units meeting daily objectives and standards.
• Collaborate with Special Education staff to meet student needs.
• Track achievement data and adjust instructional planning accordingly.
• Maintain grade and attendance records and report progress to stakeholders.
• Integrate technology into classroom lessons.
