Qualifications

• Experience with urban, low-income student populations preferred.
• Valid driver's license with current insurance.
• Background check, physical, and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal status.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, differentiated instruction to students.
• Set rigorous academic and behavioral goals for students.
• Modify instruction to meet high standards and student needs.
• Design and implement high-quality lesson plans and long-term units.
• Co-plan with Special Education Teachers as needed.
• Continuously track student achievement data and inform planning.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Enforce classroom rules and school-wide standards.
• Communicate student progress to stakeholders.
• Maintain grade and attendance records.
• Incorporate technology into lessons.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth for student gains.
• Communicate with students, families and colleagues.
• Attend and participate in professional development and data meetings.
• Support projects across CCSD when needed.
