Job summary

Propel Northside seeks a Literacy Instructional Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year. The role delivers reading instruction using Evidence Based Literacy Instruction, analyzes assessment data, and provides pull-in and pull-out interventions for students below grade level based on formal assessments and teacher input.

The position also administers literacy assessments, communicates with the Title I coordinator, and participates in professional development to support researched-based resources

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in education or literacy field.
• Experience with literacy instruction and assessment.
• Ability to use educational technology and resources.

Responsibilities

• Administer literacy assessments several times per year.
• Provide pull-in and pull-out literacy interventions.
• Analyze assessment data to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers and Title I coordinator.
• Participate in professional development and apply best practices.
