The George Washington University’s Upward Bound program seeks a Program Associate to coordinate the federally funded TRIO initiative, recruit students, build school partnerships, and manage onboarding for new students and families. You will report to the Manager of the Upward Bound Program and support enrollment guidance, events, budgeting, web/marketing, and reporting.

You will also assist in grant writing, faculty development, and ongoing communications with parents, schools, and community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work with a diverse group and collaborate across teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead recruitment and outreach to identify and enroll eligible students.
• Coordinate orientation and onboarding for students and families.
• Develop education plans and provide academic/career counseling.
• Plan and deliver college readiness and career development workshops.
• Direct tutorial services and match tutors to students.
• Schedule events and coordinate field trips and college tours.
• Communicate with students via technology and social media.
• Assist with grant writing, budgeting, and data reporting.
• Represent the program at campus, state, and national meetings.
