Job summary

Florida State University in Tallahassee is seeking a Program Manager for the Upward Bound program in Madison County. The role ensures the program operates in full compliance with sponsor and university policies and oversees activities aligned with the funded proposal.

You will supervise staff, coordinate services, monitor participant progress, and manage budgets with campus partners. Travel to Madison County is required and a background check is necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to academic and/or student services; or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience related to academic and/or student services.
• A valid State of Florida or Georgia Driver’s License or the ability to obtain prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Upward Bound Madison County program complies with policies and regulations; guides program activities and goals.
• Executes plan of operation: inform community, select participants, assess students, develop action plans, monitor progress, and graduate students; supervises staff and manages budgets with department leadership.
• Manages services for participants including tutoring, graduation advisement, financial aid, college enrollment, counseling, mentoring, and enrichment activities.
• Maintains documentation and records according to regulations; coordinates program forms, applications, evaluations, brochures.
• Promote relationships with campus partners; serve on committees; participate in development; perform related duties.
