Job summary

Tarrant County College District seeks a Coordinator of TRIO, Upward Bound to coordinate activities and services for a grant program. You will provide educational and college preparatory support to help high school students complete secondary education and enroll in postsecondary institutions.

Reporting to the Director of TRIO Programs, you will lead assessments, coordinate events, track student progress, recruit participants, and ensure grant compliance while working Monday through Friday with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of experience working with students from diverse backgrounds, especially low-income or first-generation.
• One year of program coordination and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts academic needs assessments and develops student educational plans.
• Coordinates events such as college tours, field trips, and workshops.
• Develops program and event publications.
• Tracks academic progress of program participants.
• Tracks program graduates as they progress through postsecondary education.
• Engages in program recruitment and maintains grant compliance.
• Hires, trains, and oversees on-call staff assisting in grant delivery.
• Organizes annual, monthly, and weekly performance reports.
