Job summary

Amkor Technology Arizona is seeking an experienced Facilities Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) Technician to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot the site’s UPW production and distribution systems. This role ensures a continuous supply of high-purity water for manufacturing and facility processes, supporting startup, shutdown, maintenance, and optimization while maintaining safety and quality specs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of UPW, water treatment, or industrial water systems experience.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes and high-purity water system requirements.
• Ability to read P&IDs, diagrams, and manuals.
• Experience using test instruments and monitoring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain UPW production equipment and distribution systems.
• Perform routine rounds, data logging, and monitor water quality parameters.
• Respond to alarms and deviations from specs; troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Calibrate and maintain analytical instruments and PM schedules.
• Assist with commissioning, upgrades, and collaboration with engineers.
