Job summary

The Ultra Pure Water (UPW) Engineering team at Samsung Austin Semiconductor on-site is seeking a Technical Lead. You will oversee the technical integrity and future planning of the UPW systems to ensure safe, sustainable operations and environmental stewardship.

You’ll guide adoption of new water treatment technologies, prioritize capital projects, and mentor engineers to build a robust talent pipeline for the site.

Qualifications

• MS or BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Process or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in a process engineering environment.
• 5+ years in UPW.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UPW engineering team and oversee technical integrity of UPW systems.
• Promote a safe work environment with a process safety mindset.
• Prioritize capital projects and guide technical roadmaps for site operations.
• Mentor engineers and develop a robust talent pipeline.
• Collaborate with executives to present data-driven results and roadmaps.
