Job summary

Uptown Cheapskate Pearland is seeking a dedicated Keyholder to support store leadership and ensure smooth daily operations. You will be responsible for opening and closing the store, leading by example on the floor, and helping maintain an exceptional customer experience.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to customer service. You will assist management with inventory, store cleanliness, and other tasks, contributing to a positive shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the store by following daily task lists.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and in-store operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and exceed customer expectations.
• Assist management and ownership with daily store operations.
• Provide outstanding customer service, manage inventory, perform housekeeping and other in-store duties.
• Answer phone calls and coordinate with the team as needed.
• Demonstrate leadership and teamwork in all store tasks.

Keyholder

Keyholders serve as shift leaders for short periods during hours the store is open as well as being trained to confidently open and close the store.

Shift Leader responsibilities include:

• Opening and closing the store by following a list of tasks assigned for each day.
• Lead by example on and off the sales floor.
• Helping maintain a clean and well organized store, exceeding customer expectations.
• Assisting management and ownership with running the store.
• Excellent customer service, inventory management, housekeeping and all other in-store tasks.
• Answer phone calls
• Team player with good leadership and people skills.
• Other duties as assigned
