Job summary

Bomag Americas Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an Uptime Engineer to resolve complex technical issues, provide warranty oversight, and develop training for operation, maintenance, and repair of our products.

You will support distributors and customers, and coordinate with Engineering, QA, Parts, and Sales to ensure service excellence. The role requires an associate degree or equivalent and 5+ years of technical experience with construction equipment; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of technical experience with construction equipment.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver distributor and customer satisfaction through timely support.
• Provide technical assistance to distributor/customer network.
• Serve as technical liaison with parts operation.
• Maintain records and provide reports as requested.
• Create service bulletins for the products you’re responsible for.
• Field technical problem resolution coordination with Engineering.
• Identify repetitive failure patterns and recommend product improvements or campaigns.
• Provide warranty oversight for product warranty claims for individual product responsibilities.
• Assist with product technical training when required.
• Interact with leadership and cross-functional teams across Engineering, QA, Parts, and Manufacturing.
• Travel as required.
