Job summary

BOMAG Americas seeks an Uptime Engineer to resolve complex technical issues for our distributor network and support Aftersales management. The role includes warranty claim oversight and delivering product training for operation, maintenance, and repair of BOMAG equipment.

You will coordinate with Engineering, QA, Parts, PIC and other departments, maintain records, and travel as required to support customers and distributors.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of technical experience with construction equipment preferred.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
• Desire and ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide problem resolution for complex technical issues to distributors and customers.
• Oversee warranty claims for product responsibilities and coordinates with warranty team.
• Develop/deliver product training for operation, maintenance, and repair of products.
• Create/own service bulletins for products and coordinate with Engineering on field issues.
