Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ready mix plant equipment at multiple locations, ensuring uptime and safety.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, inspect conveyors, mixers, motors, and gearboxes, and support plant operations while traveling between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to work independently and travel between plant locations.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ready mix plant equipment to maximize uptime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Inspect, maintain, and replace components including conveyors, mixers, motors, gearboxes.
• Perform maintenance on ready mix concrete trucks and routine inspections.
• Collaborate with operations teams to support safe, reliable performance across locations.
