Job summary

Dispatch Bio is seeking an Associate Scientist, Upstream Process Development, to contribute to upstream viral process development for T cell and viral vector programs. You will perform routine lab activities, help build viral manufacturing capabilities, and collaborate with research and external partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field, hands-on lab experience, GMP awareness, and strong data analysis and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in chemical/biochemical engineering, biotechnology or related.
• Hands-on upstream viral or bioprocess experience beneficial.
• Knowledge of GMP for clinical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assist upstream viral process development in the lab.
• Support development/characterization of viral production processes.
• Collaborate with research, analytical development, and external partners.
• Maintain detailed lab notebooks and prepare technical documents.
