Job summary
Plantible Foods is seeking an Upstream Project Engineer to own the engineering and field execution of systems that grow, cultivate, harvest, and deliver Lemna biomass to downstream processing. This role sits between Plantible's agricultural and process teams and external engineering partners, focusing on greenhouse structures, cultivation systems, water delivery, and utilities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
- 5–10+ years on industrial, agricultural, or controlled-environment capital projects.
- Experience with greenhouse construction or modular agricultural facilities.
- Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and read drawings.
Responsibilities
- Translate requirements into clear scopes for external partners.
- Coordinate process, mechanical, piping, civil, electrical and facility interfaces.
- Develop Basis of Design documents, equipment lists, and utility requirements.
- Lead design reviews with internal SMEs and external engineers.
- Drive decisions to closure and manage risks and dependencies.
