Job summary

VIDA in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional front-of-house service in a lively dining setting. You will greet guests, take orders, input into POS, serve food and beverages, handle special requests, and contribute to a memorable guest experience while maintaining cleanliness and teamwork.

In this role, you will upsell daily specials and wine pairings, collaborate with kitchen and bar teams, and participate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in upscale dining is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with high service standards.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Team player with positive attitude.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of wine and spirits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selections.
• Input orders and manage communications with the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly following presentation standards.
• Perform tableside tasks such as wine presentations and water service.
• Upsell daily specials, desserts, and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers.
• Adhere to health, safety, and alcohol service guidelines.
