Job summary

StepStone Hospitality is seeking a friendly, energetic team member to join our restaurant family in Indianapolis. You will greet guests, guide menu selections, and deliver exceptional service while maintaining smooth seating and flow of dining.

Qualifications

• Must have previous guest service experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Shift 2pm–9pm or 5pm–12am.
• Able to lift 50 pounds; physical stamina required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be licensed to serve alcohol.
• Must obtain Indiana Server permit within 14 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel valued.
• Assist host with seating and maintain smooth service flow.
• Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, beverages, and wine pairings.
• Develop understanding of menu offerings, specials, wines, and key ingredients.
• Deliver attentive, professional service to enhance dining experiences.
• Process payments accurately and maintain cash handling procedures.
