Job summary

Recess Hotel & Club in Savannah, opening Fall 2026, is seeking polished Servers for Le Flâneur, a signature French brasserie. As a Server, you will guide guests through dining with warmth, knowledge of food, beverages, and wine, and deliver attentive service in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop menu knowledge, assist with recommendations, process orders using POS, and collaborate with culinary and bar teams to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant serving experience; upscale dining preferred.
• Passion for hospitality, food, wine, and guest engagement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Stand/walk long hours and carry trays safely.
• Professional presentation and grooming standards.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Experience with POS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, personalized, and professional service during each guest's dining experience.
• Develop knowledge of Le Flâneur's food, beverage, wine, cocktails, and desserts.
• Guide guests through menu selections and offer thoughtful recommendations.
• Enter orders accurately and process transactions via POS.
• Serve courses and beverages per standards and sequence of service.
• Anticipate guest needs with genuine hospitality.
• Stay updated on menu changes, features, and seasonal offerings.
• Pre-bus and reset tables to maintain a polished dining environment.
• Collaborate with culinary, bar, host, and support teams for seamless service.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock levels at service stations and dining areas.
• Promote menu items, wine, cocktails, and specials when appropriate.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and elevate when needed.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellence.
