Recess Hotel & Club Savannah is hiring a polished Server for Le Flâneur, our signature French brasserie. You will guide guests through their dining experience with warmth, accurate orders, and knowledge of the menu, wine, and cocktails, delivering memorable hospitality in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant serving experience preferred; upscale dining experience is a plus.
• Passion for hospitality, food, wine, and guest engagement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, personalized, and professional service throughout each guest's dining experience.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of Le Flâneur's food, beverage, wine, cocktail, and dessert offerings.
• Guide guests through menu selections and make thoughtful recommendations based on their preferences.
• Accurately enter orders and process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards and sequence of service.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide genuine, hospitality-focused service.
• Maintain awareness of menu changes, daily features, and seasonal offerings.
• Pre-bus and reset tables throughout service to maintain a polished dining environment.
• Collaborate closely with culinary, bar, host, and support teams to ensure seamless service.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of service stations and dining areas.
• Promote featured menu items, wine selections, cocktails, and special offerings when appropriate.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and elevate issues when necessary.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellence and hospitality.
