Job summary

Hudson House is a neighborhood restaurant from Vandelay Companies seeking a Server to deliver thoughtful, attentive food and beverage service with genuine hospitality and polished professionalism. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Positive attitude and ownership of the position.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication.
• Team-oriented with punctuality and reliability.
• Experience in upscale, high-volume full-service establishment preferred.
• Must pass quizzes on product and job knowledge.
• Passion for creating memorable moments of hospitality.
• Willing to learn and grow within the restaurant.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, and craft cocktails.
• Understanding of classic food and wine service, pairings and service ware.
• TABC Certification as required.
• State/Local required food and alcohol service certifications.

Responsibilities

• Uphold high level of hospitality and professionalism with guests and team.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, ingredients and dietary restrictions to answer questions.
• Follow all steps of service with consistency and accuracy.
• Open/close procedures for the station to ensure readiness and smooth operations.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with the team to support a seamless service.
• Assist in creating a memorable guest experience throughout the visit.
• Handle guest concerns with grace and hospitality, accommodating special requests when possible.
• Participate in ongoing training to refine knowledge and elevate performance.
