Job summary

Kirkwood in Houston is seeking motivated servers to join a new upscale dining concept, committed to world-class service and culinary excellence.

You will guide guests through the menu, coordinate with kitchen and bar, and maintain a polished, fast-paced service environment. Must have food handler and state alcohol server certificates; experience in fine dining is preferred. Flexible nights/weekends required.

Qualifications

Experience in upscale or fine dining preferred.
Food handler certification required.
State alcohol server certification required.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Provide warm, attentive service reflecting elevated standards.
Guide guests through the menu with knowledge of ingredients and chef recommendations.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and input into the POS system.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely, precise service.
Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns professionally.
Handle guest payments, including credit cards and checks, with integrity and accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned sections and service areas.
Follow all steps of service including table settings and pacing.
