Qualifications

• Experience in a host or guest-facing hospitality role, preferably in upscale or fine dining.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Valid Food Handler Certificate required.
• Valid State Alcohol Server Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests with a professional demeanor.
• Manage reservations using SevenRooms and maintain accurate waitlists.
• Coordinate and control dining room flow to ensure seamless seating.
• Communicate with FOH and BOH to optimize table turns and guest satisfaction.
• Provide accurate wait time estimates and assist guests while waiting.
• Answer phones professionally and assist with inquiries and reservations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entryway.
• Uphold hospitality standards in all interactions.
• Assist with private dining inquiries and large party needs.
• Be knowledgeable about menu, specials, and events.
