Job summary

Acme Hospitality in Santa Barbara’s arts and entertainment district is seeking an experienced bartender for a high-volume, upscale bar. You will craft and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining a pristine bar setup.

Responsibilities include stock management, collaborating with kitchen and waitstaff, upselling premium beverages, and ensuring compliance with all legal alcohol-service regulations.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of mixology and craft cocktails.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with wine, spirits, beer, and liqueurs.
• Experience with POS systems and basic math for orders and payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide courteous service at the bar.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Suggest drinks based on guest preferences and menu knowledge.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and stock supplies.
• Operate POS and handle payments accurately.
• Uphold laws on responsible alcohol service and ID verification.
