Choice Hotels International, Inc. in Bloomington, IN seeks an energetic Server for FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar. The AM Server creates 100% guest satisfaction by serving lounge customers promptly and efficiently, while upholding hospitality standards and brand values.

Role includes taking orders, describing menu items, refilling beverages, and maintaining clean, organized service areas. Flexible scheduling, weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year restaurant serving experience.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol based on state law.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws and regulations.
• Thorough understanding of safe and perceptive service.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to do basic math and handle cash.
• Ability to work with Point of Sale systems.
• Highly organized – ability to proactively prioritize needs and manage time.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides food and beverage service to guests in the restaurant.
• Provides guest with overview of menu choices and takes orders.
• Prepares orders for presentation to guest and replenishes water.
• Makes and pours coffee for customers and clears tables during dining.
• Cleans and resets tables, assists service team to meet guest expectations.
• Sets up beverage stations and maintains guest satisfaction by hospitality standards.
