Job summary

Major Food Group, owner of Carbone Miami, is seeking a professional Host to greet guests, present menus, and coordinate seating in a fast-paced, upscale setting. You will manage wait lists, answer guest questions, and help ensure an exceptional dining experience in a renowned Italian-American venue.

The role requires 8-hour shifts, ability to stand and lift up to 30 lbs, and familiarity with POS, OpenTable, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume upscale restaurant preferred.
• Full-time availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of specials.
• Maintains guest satisfaction and strives to exceed expectations.
• Manages waiting lists and quotes wait times accurately.
• Updates floor plan board and monitors table status.
• Answers phone and provides menu/restaurant information.
