Job summary

Major Food Group LLC is hiring Hosts for CARBONE and CARBONE VINO in the Dallas Design District. You will greet and seat guests, present menus, and ensure exceptional dining experiences while working in a high-volume, upscale setting.

The role requires a positive attitude, customer service experience, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency with POS systems and OpenTable is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant preferred but not required.
• Customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; lift 30 lbs.
• Full-time flexible hours are required (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Proficient or ability to learn computer skills including POS systems, OpenTable, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of specials.
• Treats all guests to ensure satisfaction; strives to exceed expectations.
• Takes names on a waiting list.
• Runs the floor plan board.
• Observes tables and tracks cleanliness and occupancy.
• Takes guest information and quotes wait times.
• Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at the host area.
• Answers phone and questions about menu/restaurant.
• Interacts with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Performs other duties as directed.
