Job summary

Major Food Group is hiring Hosts to join our team at CARBONE and CARBONE VINO in the Dallas Design District. As one of the first points of contact with guests, you will greet, seat, and inform guests, aiming for hospitality excellence and a memorable dining experience.

Candidates should have strong customer service instincts, be able to stand for long periods, and work flexible days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include health coverage and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant preferred but not required.
• Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient with computer skills including POS systems, OpenTable, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of special catch and soups.
• Treats all guests to ensure complete satisfaction and exceed expectations.
• Takes names on a waiting list.
• Runs the floor plan board and manages table status.
• Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
