Job summary

CLIVE Collective in Tiburon, CA seeks a Restaurant Manager to lead frontline operations, ensuring service excellence, guest satisfaction, and brand standards. This is a full-time, salaried leadership role requiring 2+ years in restaurant management and open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience required (upscale or high-volume preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high guest expectations.
• Proficiency in POS systems (Toast preferred), scheduling tools (7Shifts), and operational platforms (Restaurant365).
• Current Arizona Food Handlers Card & Liquor Certification (or ability to obtain before start).
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH operations during service, ensuring pacing, communication, quality, and hospitality meet CLIVE standards.
• Conduct pre-shifts, communicate menu features, updates, 86'd items, and service priorities.
• Maintain strong floor presence—supporting servers, bartenders, hosts, and runners throughout the shift.
• Monitor service flow, ticket times, guest experience, and team performance in real time.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring accuracy, cleanliness, and readiness across all FOH stations.
