Job summary

THE RANCH Restaurant & Saloon in Anaheim is seeking a driven Assistant Manager to support the leadership team in daily operations of an upscale dining venue. You will oversee front-of-house staff, uphold service standards, and ensure a welcoming, professional atmosphere for guests and team members.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the quality and culture of THE RANCH experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years of restaurant supervisory or lead experience; upscale or fine dining preferred.
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations and POS systems (Aloha experience a plus).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the training, coaching, and daily supervision of front of house team members.
• Assist with maintaining clear communication between the dining room and kitchen leadership.
• Uphold all company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations.
• Support inventory processes, product organization, and vendor coordination as directed.
• Maintain working knowledge of the restaurant's beverage program and menu offerings.
• Help manage labor needs by supporting schedule execution and monitoring floor coverage.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including Aloha POS functions and reporting.
• Monitor guest feedback in real time and help resolve concerns to ensure exceptional experiences.
• Lead by example, promoting professionalism, teamwork, and a culture of genuine hospitality.
