Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality seeks a professional cook for the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. The role requires preparing all menu items per recipes, maintaining quality, and coordinating with the team in a fast-paced, luxury hotel kitchen.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of cooking experience, with hotel or resort background preferred, and a food handler card (Maricopa County) with ServSafe preferred. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity at Arizona Biltmore.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an Apprenticeship or accredited Culinary School, preferred.
• At least two (2) years of cooking experience in a professional, fast-paced kitchen.
• Prior hotel / resort experience, preferred.
• Upscale / luxury dining experience, preferred.
• Maricopa County Food Handler Card.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and/or guest check to ensure consistency of product to the guest.
• Maintain consistency and work as a team.
• Check and control the proper storage of product, monitoring age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality.
• Keep all refrigeration equipment, storage and working areas clean and clutter free, complying with Health department regulations.
• Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production.
• Read and employ math skills to follow recipes.
• This is a full-time position, and you must have availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
