Kessler Hotels seeks a Pastry Cook to prepare desserts, breads and pastries in a high-end hotel kitchen. You will follow recipes, manage prep, and maintain strict sanitary standards while delivering visually appealing creations for guests.

Ideal candidates have a pastry/culinary degree and at least 1 year of experience in luxury settings. Knowledge of POS and kitchen software is a plus, with strong teamwork and adaptability required.

Qualificações

• Culinary/pastry degree or related training preferred.
• At least 1 year of pastry/kitchen experience required.
• Experience in luxury brand/markets preferred.
• Food Safety certification preferred or to be attained within 30 days.
• Strong knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Proficient with knives and culinary tools.
• Comfortable working in a shared noisy kitchen environment.

Responsabilidades

• Follow recipes to prepare and present all dessert, pastry and bread items.
• Ensure adequate prep by checking par lists for each shift.
• Measure and mix ingredients for dough or batter.
• Prepare fillings and desserts like pies, puddings and custards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per health codes.
• Rotate inventory to minimize waste and manage stock.
• Greet guests and maintain professional appearance.
