The Pastry Cook role at Kessler Hotels focuses on preparing and presenting a variety of pastries, breads and desserts within our luxury hospitality environment. You will follow recipes, ensure quality presentations, and uphold food safety standards while supporting the hotel’s fine dining experiences.

Ideal candidates have a culinary/pastry degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience, familiarity with bakery operations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Culinary / Pastry & Baking degree or related training in hospitality/restaurant industry.
• 1 year of relevant work experience in pastry or desserts.
• Experience with luxury brands or markets preferred.

Responsabilités

• Follow recipes to properly prepare and present all dessert, pastry and bread items.
• Check par levels to ensure adequate prep for shift.
• Measure and mix ingredients for dough or batter.
• Prepare fillings for pies, puddings and custards.
• Decorate cakes and pastries and maintain clean prep areas.
• Rotate stock and ensure proper storage to minimize waste.
