Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking an Outlet Server II to deliver exceptional personalized service under the Assistant General Manager at Signature Dining Restaurant. You will anticipate guest needs, maintain professionalism, and ensure VIP guests are consistently wowed while staying informed about all facilities and events.

The role requires 2 years of guest service experience in a dining setting, flexibility, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and write English required.
• Must have good communication skills and a friendly personable attitude.
• Two years’ guest service experience in a family or formal dining environment.
• Casino Food & Beverage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide superior guest service for all operations.
• Present menu, suggest courses and drinks, answer questions about food prep.
• Take drinks and food orders and serve meals according to etiquette.
• Check quality after each course and refill drinks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, ashtrays and service areas.
• Totals bill, present check and process payment; assist bussers as needed.
