Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht Club is seeking an experienced cook to join our upscale food and beverage team in Northeast Florida. You will prepare and plate items to order, ensuring top quality and timely service for guests in a luxury setting.

Two or more years of cooking experience in upscale environments and formal culinary training are preferred. Applicants should uphold sanitation standards and work well in a fast-paced team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English to communicate with staff.
• Two+ years cooking experience in upscale, luxury hotel or freestanding restaurant, plus culinary training/certification as “Cook” from a recognized program.
• Thorough knowledge of Food Service Sanitation Standards and kitchen equipment use.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food cooked to order according to approved recipes and plating criteria.
• Ensures food quality and timely service to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and organization of the kitchen area.
