Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club in Northeast Florida is seeking a skilled line cook to join our kitchen team, reporting to the Executive Chef. The role focuses on quality, presentation, sanitation and cost control.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least 3 years of professional kitchen experience across saucier, prep, banquet, pantry and hot line. Strong English communication and a willingness to train on safety procedures are essential. Flexible, full-time schedule offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language to communicate with clients, members, guests and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and split shifts.
• Attend required training and safety courses; participate in meetings.
• Oversee kitchen personnel to ensure production meets standards.
• Responsible for food and labor costs; exercise portion control.
• Assist Executive Chef in inventory, payroll in absence of Chef, and scheduling as needed.
• Perform other duties to ensure a quality product as assigned.
