Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht Club in Northeast Florida seeks a dedicated cook to lead food preparation in an upscale environment. You will prepare items to order, follow standard recipes, and plate dishes with attention to presentation and quality for our guests.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent and two+ years cooking experience in luxury settings, with post-secondary culinary training or certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; English proficient for staff communication.
• Two+ years cooking experience in upscale, luxury hotel or freestanding restaurant; culinary training/certification as Cook.
• Thorough knowledge of Food Service Sanitation Standards and kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Prepare food cooked to order according to approved recipes and plating criteria.
• Ensure high quality, timely service and proper portion control.
• Follow all safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
