Job summary

Mexican Sugar is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead shifts and support front-of-house operations, preparing the restaurant and team for service while upholding hospitality and standards.

This role requires 2+ years of restaurant management in high-volume settings, a passion for upscale Latin-inspired service, and the ability to coach Team Members, manage scheduling, and partner with Culinary and Bar teams to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment.
• Premium/upscale or high-end restaurant experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead shifts, coach Team Members and uphold hospitality and operational standards.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
• Food Manager certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead successful shifts through preparation, communication and follow-through.
• Drive sales through memorable Guest experiences and high-energy leadership.
• Monitor labor, staffing and productivity and make adjustments as needed.
• Support scheduling, inventory, ordering and cost-control responsibilities.
• Maintain a safe, organized and polished restaurant.
• Deliver attentive service and conduct regular visits and walks-through.
• Resolve Guest concerns promptly and with sound judgment.
• Partner with Culinary and Bar Teams to deliver seamless service.
• Support events and activations that bring the Brand DNA to life.
