Job summary

Mexican Sugar in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead front-of-house operations, prepare the restaurant for service, and uphold our luxury Latin dining standards for guests and Team Members.

You will coach staff, manage shifts, ensure safe service and menu execution, and partner with culinary and bar teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Requires 2+ years in upscale restaurant management; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment.
• Premium, upscale or high-end restaurant experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead shifts, coach Team Members and uphold hospitality and operational standards.
• Results-driven, trustworthy and team-oriented leadership style.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead successful shifts through preparation, clear communication and follow-through.
• Drive sales through memorable guest experiences and high-energy, service-oriented leadership.
• Monitor labor, staffing and productivity and make adjustments as needed.
• Support scheduling, inventory, ordering and cost-control responsibilities.
• Maintain a safe, organized and polished restaurant.
• Deliver attentive service and regular table visits and restaurant walkthroughs.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly, professionally and with sound judgment.
• Ensure food and beverages meet our quality, recipe and presentation standards.
• Partner with the Culinary and Bar Teams to deliver seamless service.
• Own your designated Area of Responsibility and complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
