Job summary

Thompson Dallas is seeking a Server Assistant for Little Daisy, a lively dining venue in downtown Dallas. You will support the service team, help set and clear tables, and assist with delivering items to guests in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers opportunities to interact with guests and collaborate with servers, culinary colleagues, and the broader Food & Beverage team, with typical PM hours 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in upscale restaurant or hotel preferred.
• Refined verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Positive, service-focused attitude.
• Professional appearance and reliable attendance.
• Availability to work PM shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry trays weighing up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support Servers with timely and attentive guest service.
• Set, clear, and reset tables according to restaurant standards.
• Deliver water, bread, food, beverages, and other items to guests as directed.
• Assist with table maintenance throughout the meal.
• Maintain clean, organized service stations.
• Assist with side work, opening/closing duties, and restaurant setup.
• Communicate guest needs to Servers and team members.
• Follow all food safety and hotel standards.
• Work with Servers, culinary colleagues, hosts, and management.
• Perform additional duties as needed based on business needs.
