Job summary

Friendwell Group of Companies is hiring a personable Bartender to join our full-service hotel team. You will deliver exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced hotel/bar environment, creating classic and signature cocktails and providing attentive guest service.

Expect to work with a knowledgeable team, maintain bar operations, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while serving guests in the hotel and restaurant settings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience, preferably in a hotel, upscale bar, or restaurant.
• Evening shifts – Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturday 3:30P – 12A
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and mixology techniques
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Ability to use MICROS
• Must meet legal requirements for alcohol service (e.g., TIPS certification where applicable)

Responsibilities

• Beverage Service: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests; Create classic and signature cocktails with consistency and quality; Maintain in-depth knowledge of drink menus, wine lists, and promotions
• Guest Experience: Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service at all times; Engage with guests, make recommendations, and personalize the experience; Handle guest concerns or special requests promptly
• Bar Operations: Set up and break down bar areas for daily service and events; Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the bar; Ensure proper stock levels, garnishes, and supplies
• Inventory & Compliance: Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking; Follow all alcohol service laws and responsible serving practices; Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
