Reserve Cut Park in New York seeks an experienced Host/Hostess with a strong work ethic to greet guests, seat parties, and help maintain the highest standards of cuisine and service. The role sits at the front of house, offering a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will manage a waitlist, present menus, confirm contact information, take reservations, answer questions about the menu, and coordinate with the service team to keep seating timely.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high volume, upscale restaurant preferred but not required.
• Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Proactive service mindset and a professional demeanor.
• Full time flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours; lift up to 30 lbs; comfortable being on feet.
• Familiar with POS systems such as Resy, OpenTable, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus, informs guests of specials.
• Keeps guests satisfied and strives to exceed expectations.
• Takes names on a waiting list and manages reservations.
• Runs the floor plan board and tracks table status.
• Answers phone and answers questions about menu and restaurant.
• Interacts with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Performs other duties as directed.
