Job summary

Hawks Cay Resort in Marathon, FL is seeking a personable Host/Hostess to welcome guests upon arrival, seat them, and provide menus while maintaining rotation standards. Responsibilities include answering phones, taking reservations, and ensuring tables are prepared for service in a fast-paced, upscale setting.

Experience in upscale dining or hotel restaurant hosting is preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with company benefits available.

Qualifications

• Previous upscale, fine dining restaurant or hotel restaurant host experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them with a friendly, courteous manner.
• Manage seating and rotation of servers according to standards.
• Provide menus and assist guests with selections as needed.
• Answer phones and take reservations following established guidelines.
• Keep menus clean and updated; replace as needed.
• Ensure tables are set properly for each shift.
• Assist the assistant server in resetting and cleaning tables.
• Coordinate seating to maintain proper rotation of servers.
